Our Board & Train programmes are designed for owners who want an intensive, structured approach to their dog’s training. They may be suitable for dogs requiring stronger obedience foundations, confidence building, improved manners or help with more challenging behaviour.
Every dog is assessed individually. Programme length and realistic training goals are agreed before a booking is accepted.

How it works
Every dog arrives with a different history, personality and set of training needs. Our Board & Train programme is therefore tailored to your dog and the outcomes you want to achieve—not built around a one-size-fits-all routine.

Initial Assessment
We begin by discussing your dog’s behaviour, training history, daily routine and any concerns you have. We will also ask about your goals so that we can assess whether residential training is appropriate and recommend a suitable programme length.
Before the programme begins, we agree on realistic priorities and create a training plan tailored to your dog.
Handover and Aftercare

Collection and Settling in
Collection and return are available across most of England, subject to location and availability.
When your dog arrives, we allow them time to become comfortable with their trainer and adjust to their new surroundings. This settling-in period helps us understand their behaviour, confidence and responses before gradually introducing more structured training.

Intensive Training
Your dog receives consistent training, structure and 24/7 in-home care throughout their stay.
Training is adapted to your dog’s individual needs and may include obedience, lead walking, recall, household manners, confidence building, reactivity and other agreed behavioural goals.
Where appropriate, training is practised in different environments and around suitable real-world distractions. This helps your dog learn to apply their new skills beyond one familiar or controlled training area.

Handover and Aftercare
At the end of the programme, we complete a detailed handover with you and your dog.
We demonstrate the handling, communication, routines and training techniques needed to maintain progress at home. You will have the opportunity to practise these skills with our guidance and ask questions before taking your dog home.
Follow-up support is included to help you manage the transition and continue building on the foundations established during the programme.

Residential training provides an intensive foundation, but your involvement remains essential. Every dog progresses differently, and long-term results depend on consistent handling, clear communication and continued practice after your dog returns home.
We will explain what has been achieved, what still requires development and how you can continue moving forward together.

Where Your Dog Will Stay
Your dog stays inside the home of an Infinity K9 trainer, with an individual routine designed around their comfort, safety and training needs.
A Genuine Home Environment
Residential dogs live inside the trainer’s home rather than in a large commercial boarding environment. This lets us incorporate training into everyday routines and observe your dog throughout the day.

Exercise & Outdoor Access
Regular toileting, individual exercise, structured walks, training, enrichment and quiet rest time are adapted to your dog.

Dogs travel in secure vehicle crates inside a climate-controlled vehicle for collections, returns, walks and public training.

We help all of our Board & Train dogs by setting rules, boundaries and a good structure along with building their confidence and socialising/generalising dogs to different environments, people and animals helping your dog become more confident and calm no matter whats going on around you.
Puppies
Start off on the right foot - we help with the essentials of raising a balanced puppy. From toilet training and manners to socialisation, confidence building and foundational obedience.
